Ultimate is a Red Dot Design Award-winning backpack from the Future Collection. The ABS hard shell with anti-scratch surface and waterproof zippers protects everything inside regardless of weather or handling. At 46×31×9 cm it's slim, structured, and focused.

One main compartment — deliberately. The entire interior is one organized space: laptop up to 17.3", tablet up to 12.9", internal pockets for cables and cards, all accessible via a full 180° opening. One zip, full access. Security is handled by a built-in TSA combination lock, with a hidden anti-theft pocket on the back panel for valuables. Dual USB charging — USB-A and USB-C simultaneously. 3D breathable back panel, chest strap, luggage strap.

In kleineren Flugzeugen wird der Rucksack direkt am Fuß der Treppe entgegengenommen – kein Check-in, kein Anhänger; er ist einfach für eine Weile verschwunden. Mir ist das schon oft passiert, und jedes Mal habe ich mir Sorgen gemacht, was als Nächstes geschehen könnte. Seit ich den Ultimate habe, ist mir das egal. Ich schließe ihn ab, gebe den Code ein und fertig. Niemand sonst kommt rein. Was die Sicherheit angeht, ist es der zuverlässigste Rucksack, den ich je besessen habe.

Ich war skeptisch, ob 12 Liter reichen. Sie reichen — weil der Platz intelligent aufgeteilt ist. Laptop 17,3 Zoll, Tablet, Kabel, Kleinigkeiten — alles hat einen Platz und sitzt fest. Für den täglichen Pendelweg ist das genau das richtige Format: nicht zu groß, nicht zu klein, immer ordentlich.

Ich hab den Ultimate jetzt drei Wochen täglich in Gebrauch. Er hält, was er verspricht und sieht nach drei Wochen noch genauso aus wie am ersten Tag. Im Büro bekomme ich regelmäßig Fragen, was das für ein Rucksack ist.

Ich hab den Ultimate als Geburtstagsgeschenk für meinen Bruder bestellt. Der Rucksack selbst ist wirklich toll — er war sofort begeistert, das Design, die Hartschale, das TSA-Schloss. Einen Stern Abzug, weil die Lieferung nach Bulgarien 6 Tage gedauert hat und ich ein bisschen gezittert habe, ob er noch rechtzeitig ankommt. Hat er — aber knapp.

Schwarz ist schön, aber nicht immer meine erste Wahl. Das ist wirklich der einzige Kritikpunkt. Die Hartschale, das TSA-Schloss, die duale USB-Ladung, das alles funktioniert einwandfrei und der Red Dot ist verdient.
